The mystery of what happened to the Hope Diamond doesn't have Quinn (Rena Sofer) fooled, as she confronts her son about it on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The diamond that helped Hope (Kim Matula) successfully re-launch her Hope for the Future fashion line went missing. Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Charlie the Security Guard (Dick Christie) were briefly held at gunpoint by two jewel thieves who were later found to have the missing diamond in their possession, before being hauled off by police.

Wyatt set up the whole thing to get more publicity for the line and for Hope. However, his new heroic status doesn't have his mother fooled.

"Don't make light of this Wyatt Fuller, you could have been killed!" she scolded him in a preview clip for the Nov. 5 episode.

"Oh come on, Mom....I only took the diamond long enough so that Charlie would call the cops and make headlines," he replied.

One person who is unhappy to hear about Wyatt's new found status as a hero is Liam (Scott Clifton), who believes it is a publicity stunt geared just so he can get Hope to sleep with him.

"Wyatt catches one lucky break with this heist thing, and I guarantee you...I guarantee you, he's going to use it to his advantage with Hope," he told Katie (Heather Tom).

Meanwhile, Katie's disturbing premonition of Bill (Don Diamont) hurting himself as he free-climbs in Aspen appeared to be startlingly true. Bill slips and begins o fall off the mountain directly in front of new love Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Whether or not he is horribly injured, or even alive, remains to be seen.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
