Bill's (Don Diamont) near-death experience when he almost fell off a mountain could affect him in ways no one thought possible on The Bold and the Beautiful.

In a preview for the Nov. 6 episode, he appears to be even more determined to have things go his way as he discusses what happened with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

"I'm not about to let a mountain, or anything...or anyone, get the best of me," he said in the clip.

Bill slipped while free-climbing in Aspen because he got distracted by thought of Katie (Heather Tom). She recently took over his company as part of their divorce settlement, and has been keeping their son Will away from his father because she doesn't approve of Bill's relationship with her sister.

Brooke, meanwhile, may be worrying that his near fall could change Bill for the worse. She is scared of losing him as a result, which would break her heart.

"I don't know what I would do if...if I had lost you," she said.

Meanwhile, Maya (Karla Mosley) is considering going back to her modeling career at Forrester Creations in an attempt to get closer to Rick (Jacob Young) again, despite their both being engaged to other people. Maya was considering calling off her engagement to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) if Rick would take her back, but Rick had just proposed to Caroline (Linsey Godfrey).

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
