'NCIS' Season 11 Spoilers: Gibbs & Bishop Solve Crime, Emily Wickersham's Character Becomes Series Regular
Emily Wickersham has been added to NCIS as a full-time cast member in the role of Bishop.
Initially, Wickersham was only offered three episodes, but she will become a series regular filling the void of Cote de Pablo's Ziva, who is no longer a part of the show.
"Emily Wickersham's Ellie Bishop is proving to perfectly compliment the NCIS team," Executive Producer Gary Glasberg said in a statement. "Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Great things are planned for Bishop and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on-board."

NSA analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop is described by CBS as "a bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward new agent. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism. She's traveled extensively, but only feels comfortable at home."
Cote de Pablo Talks About Her Decision To Leave NCIS
Wickersham, who appeared in the final season of The Sopranos, will make her debut on the show on Nov. 19. She will be introduced after its discovered that the Secretary of the Navy was wired during a confidential briefing. Bishop, who described the security breach in a threat analysis report two years prior, will work with the team to find out who the person responsible for the crime is.
