While there hasn't exactly been a ton of news recently on Netflix's hit series Orange Is The New Black, fans have still been scouring the web in order to find out the latest dirt on the popular program.

Actress Taylor Schilling, who plays the part of its lead, the imprisoned Piper Chapman, recently spoke to News & Life about why she feels OITNB loyalists have continually gravitated toward the show.

"This is a show that features women of every shape and size and color and orientation, an array of faces that I don't think I've ever seen on television before or any sort of entertainment media ever," she said.

In terms of its second season, Schilling said that she can't wait for fans to witness the evolution of the characters, which she feels may start to sway a lot of preconceived opinions of them in a surprising manner.

"I'm excited for people to be able to spend time with these women. They may start to root for people that they may previously thought they had nothing in common with and kind of through some of these stories, see the common ground," she explained.

Netflix's Orange Is The New Black is set to make its return for season 2 at some point in 2014. The program is currently in production in New York. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the popular series.
