'Supernatural' Season 9 Spoilers: 'Psych's Tim Omundson to Play Cain, Could Hold Secrets to Knights of Hell VIDEO
A new demon is coming to Supernatural, and he is one of the Bible's oldest killers.
Cain will make an entrance in an episode titled "First Born," according to E!. The son of Adam and Eve, Cain was the first human and, considering it was his actions that put his younger brother Abel six feet under, he is also known as the first murderer.
However, it remains to be seen if the killer is still up to his evil ways. Apparently Cain left the demon gig quite a long time ago, according to E!. The reason? He seems to have fallen in love.
Fortunately or unfortunately, Cain also happened to be the trainer of the Knights of Hell. Although viewers haven't seen Abaddon (Alaina Huffman) in several episodes, she's still out there somewhere and having her old teacher back could be a major bonus. On the other hand, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have been researching the Knights of Hell and perhaps their search has led them to Cain.
What ever the reason for Cain's arrival, E! says he will be sticking around for a bit. Played by Psych's talented Tim Omundson viewers might not mind seeing more of Cain, even if he does turn out to be an enemy of the Winchesters.
Supernatural airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the CW. Check out a preview of next week's episode by clicking the video below.
