'Sherlock' Season 3 Spoilers: Benedict Cumberbatch Talks Faking Death Amid Future 'Jaw Dropping' Series, VIDEO
While there hasn't been a whole lot of information coming out as of late on BBC's hit show, Sherlock, there were a couple tidbits that have recently sprouted in terms of the upcoming series.
Actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who dons the role of Sherlock, recently spilled the beans in a humorous way on just how he faked his season 2 death fall.
While speaking to Reddit via web chat, Cumberbatch spoke in his usual tone of sarcasm.
"Have you seen the winged suits on YouTube?? I told you I was skydiving. How many more clues do you need people?"
Also, Martin Freeman, who plays Watson, explained that his best friend Sherlock hasn't cheated his death and that his survival didn't involve any sort of magic tricks, saying all the clues could be seen on the small screen.
Lastly, when chatting with Entertainment Weekly on Oct. 23, executive producer Rebecca Eaton stated that fans can expect "jaw dropping" episodes which will take the form of "small movies" and be the "best as yet."
Sherlock will be making its return to television in the U.S. on Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. While its U.K. release will be happening sooner, an official date has not yet been announced.
