'Ravenswood' ABC Family: Are Caleb and 'Pretty Little Liars' Hanna Doomed? Miranda Urges Him to Tell Girlfriend About Curse VIDEO
The relationship between Caleb Rivers and his Rosewood girlfriend is under stress as the supernatural occurrences ramp up on Ravenswood.
Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) left his Pretty Little Liars girlfriend behind when he attempted to help Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson) settle in with her uncle in Ravenswood. However, now that Miranda has died and Caleb seems to be sticking around Ravenswood for the foreseeable future, his relationship with Hanna (Ashley Benson) may be hitting a rough patch.
As the mystery of the curse that binds Caleb, Miranda, Remy (Britne Oldford), Luke (Brett Dier), and Olivia (Merritt Patterson) together deepens and Caleb realizes he may have family in the strange town, some fans are wondering how long he will last with Hanna and whether or not he has a future with Miranda.
"There's nothing set in stone that says that anybody has to be in a relationship with anyone else," explained series creator Marlene King, according to Entertainment Weekly. "I think as we're getting to know the characters; they're leading the way as to where we go with these relationships. The same goes for Hanna on PLL - there's a new character who becomes a part of here life while Caleb is in Ravenswood and we are letting those characters sort of pave the way and decide if there's going to be a relationship there or not."
While it would be rather difficult for Miranda and Caleb to start anyform of relationship considering she is a ghost, Petterson says there is a definite level of attraction between the two.
"Miranda and Caleb are very similar," Petterson said in a recent interview. "Their characters are very similar, so they get along really well right off the bat, which could be taken wrong from someone else [like Hanna], especially in a different town."
In a new sneak peek for "The Devil Has a Face" (see video below), Miranda floats the idea by Caleb that perhaps Hanna's fears would be allayed is Caleb were to inform her of Miranda's passing.
Ravenswood airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
