Phillip Phillips and Joshua Ledet Hug For the Last Time [VIDEO]
Phillip Phillips hugged Joshua Ledet like never before on American Idol last night, but this time, Ledet hugged him back.
The last minutes of the Elimination show were full of tension as Jessica Sanchez was declared safe and Joshua and Phillip awaited to hear the name of the person who would make it to the finals.
Before the big announcement Phillip raised his arm to reach over Joshua and hugged him. Naturally Joshua put his arm around Phillip as they awaited for host Ryan Seacrest to shout the result.
Few seconds later, Seacrest announced that Phillip made it to the finals and both hugged ending the tension.
Earlier in the competition, both singers made headlines when they had an awkward moment during a performance together.
It all happened when Ledet and Phillips - the last males in the competition and both considered front runners - were ending their song "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" and Phillips, apparently going with the flow of the song, reached out to hug Ledet.
But Ledet seemed nervous and pushed Philip's arm away, then started laughing and appeared embarrassed.

Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler gave them an ovation and couldn't help but laugh about what just happened.
"Hey you guys...," Tyler said laughing. "You need to embrace each other up there. Hold each other, look into each other's eyes and sing that song! Get over it!"
After that performance, whenever they sang a duet, they just smiled at each other and shook hands.
