Compared to its early beginnings, the storyline landscape for FX's hit biker series, Sons of Anarchy has clearly changed its course in season 6, having a lot to do with the fact that there's severe trouble between SAMCRO president Jax (Charlie Hunnam), and his old lady Tara (Maggie Siff).

If Tara's struggles with keeping her kids away from the dangers and backlash of the club's business isn't enough, she's also having to also deal with a disgruntled grandmother in Gemma (Katey Sagal).

On Nov. 12, Siff spoke to TV Guide about what looks to be an impending explosion of sorts between her character and the Tellers, acknowledging that SOA creator Kurt Sutter had always envisioned such a scenario.

"I know Kurt [Sutter] has always imagined that, at some point, [Tara] becomes Gemma. And the only way for that to happen is if she does things akin to what Gemma is capable of doing. So there was an interesting irony about her perpetrating this on Gemma. The end goal for Tara is really about protecting her children," she said.

Amid Hunnams' recent rumors that multiple character deaths are set to occur, it undoubtedly begs the question on whether one of them would be Gemma. In such a scenario, it would make sense that Tara could essentially become her.

Nonetheless, the actress delved deeper into the subject of her broken marriage, stating that Tara will be forced to deal with her obstacles on her own.

"With the trial looming over her head and her and Jax's disassociation from each other - and his apparent disregard for what happens to her in the trial [because] his head is so filled with club business - she just gets left behind. She has a reckoning at some point within herself and realizes that if she's actually going to succeed in providing her children with a different, better life, she's really on her own," she said.

Next up for FX's Sons of Anarchy is Aon Rud Persanta, which will be hitting the small screen on Monday, Nov. 19. Be sure to keep checking back for more details on the popular program. A promo video for the upcoming episode can be viewed below.
