'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: Carol Set To Die A 'Painful' Death At The Hands Of The Governor? [SNEAK PEEK VIDEO]
AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, is back on Sunday with an all-new episode, which will once again feature the Governor (David Morrissey), who may be offing a fan favorite.
Showrunner Scott Gimple spoke to Entertainment Weekly on Nov. 10 about what's being described as a "standalone" episode coming up for the former leader of Woodbury.
"We will be really getting into who this guy is, to further define this guy. He did something very pronounced at the end of the season that defines him a certain way that affected him a great deal. That's changed him a great deal. So we will see who this man is now. There will absolutely be a flashback element filling in some of those blanks. More so, I would say, than we did with rejoining the prison," he explained .
AMC put out the following description for the show's upcoming episode, which is titled Live Bait.
"A familiar face returns as each member of the group struggles to find his or her humanity in a world of constant threats."
In other Walking Dead news, actor Andrew Lincoln, who dons the role of Rick, stated that episode 8 will be including a "painful" scene, which has fans buzzing that it may be Carol (Melissa McBride).
The Walking Dead is set to make its return to the small screen for episode 6, Live Bait, on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 9/8 p.m. Central Standard Time.
