The NCIS: Los Angeles team will soon be getting a little help from a former Bones serial killer.

Andrew Leeds recently completed a stint on the Fox drama as Pelant, the genius hacktivist with murderous disposition. Leeds will now swap his act as a cunning criminal for the role of an obsessive-compulsive tech operator named Booker, according to TV Line.

Although it has not been announced when exactly Booker will enter the scene, it looks like the NCIS Office of Special Projects' Ops center will be getting a little crowded.

The current NCIS: LA Ops team is comprised of Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) and Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith). As a tech operator and intelligence analyst, Eric has been part of Hetty's (Linda Hunt) crew since the start of season 1. Nell, on the other hand, didn't arrive until season 2. Also an intelligence analyst, Nell carries a gun and des extra work for Hetty, both in Ops and in the field.

While Eric and Nell have a very back and forth, Smith says there won't be a relationship between them, at least not for a while.

"Well, the way it was explained to me, Nell defiantly has affection for Mr. Eric Beal. But in [the Christmas episode] she's defiantly being a bit of a mynx about it," Smith told Darragh O'Dea over the summer. "She wants him to participate in her toys for tots so she kind of hangs...the mistletoe, lays one on him, and tells him to put the tights on...I think there is defiantly a connection and a friendship and an attraction and I'm sure it will unfold over several seasons."

As seen in the recent episode "Unwritten Rule," Eric does not take particularly well to other men hitting on Nell. It will be interesting to see how he reacts to having Booker in "his" Ops center.

NCIS: LA airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Click the video below to a preview for the upcoming episode, "Recovery."
