Some NCIS: Los Angeles fans may be white knuckling it through to next Tuesday's Densi-centric episode so here's a little scoop to help tide you over.

While Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) struggle to strike a balance between their romantic feelings and their professional partnership, life rolls on as usual for the Special Operations office. This, of course, means more high profile cases and a whole lot of action packed fight scenes.

Penned by long-time NCIS: LA writer David Kalstein and titled "Frozen Lake," the upcoming episode will see Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) reach out to an elite knife fighter for help retrieving some stolen property. The Nepali solider, called a Gurkha, may have other ideas, however.

"#NCISLA E509 Spoiler...a shiny blade nearly takes G&Sam down," tweeted executive producer John Peter Kousakis. "Plus...DO NOT miss the final scene."

To get ready to film some of the episode's fight scenes, the CBS actors had to log quite a few hours with the show's fight director, Rafael Kayanan

"Ep 509 of NCIS:LA is the best action work I've seen yet from the cast," Kayanan tweeted in early November. "They surprise me every time."

Meanwhile, actor Ernie Reyes Jr. revealed via Twitter that he will be playing a Gurkah in "Frozen Lake" and he can be seen trying to slice and dice Sam at the start of the Entertainment Tonight video below.
