'True Blood' Season 7 Spoilers: Pam & Tara's Relationship Continues Through Final Episodes? [VIDEO]
True Blood fans that enjoy the Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) relationship should expect more of their relationship explored in the show's final season.
With Pam and Tara developing a sexual relationship in season 6, Wesley spoke with The Huffington Post and discussed why the two are such a good pair and what's ahead for them in season 7.
"They are a good couple, Pam and Tara," Wesley said. "It's nice because Tara sort of brings out a side in Pam you don't always see. I think Pam has met her match when she's with Tara." Wesley said that she enjoys the strength that comes from her character being a vampire now.
Van Straten discussed the relationship with The Huffington Post Canada, suggesting that she genuinely enjoys acting opposite Wesley's Tara.
"I love that pairing. I want to find out what happens with that relationship as well," van Straten admitted. "It was so multi-layered. I went through a whole season trying to kill her, and I have to make her, so now she's my baby, and she's hot, so now I'm making out with her. [Laughs] I think that's how life is, it's messy. I like how -- the HBO shows in particular -- have those contradictions. Life is lived in the grey area."
Both Wesley and van Straten commented on entering into True Blood's final season and how they feel about it.
"I'm sad to see it go, but I think we're going out with a bang," Wesley said, while van Straten noted that she does not like endings but also said that she was excited to wrap things up.
True Blood season 7 is set to premiere on HBO in summer 2014, though the network has not scheduled an official premiere date.
