TNT's three-week event series Mob City features cast members from such shows as The Walking Dead, Justified and Heroes coming together to tell a tale of corruption in Los Angeles.

Jon Bernthal - who played Shane on The Walking Dead - stars in Mob City as Joe Teague, a police officer trying to uncover the corruption of local mobsters. Bernthal's Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey DuMunn - who played Dale - stars as the new head of the mob squad.

Neal McDonough (Justified) plays William H. Parker, the real-life police chief of the LAPD. Newcomer Jeremy Luke plays Mickey Cohen, the infamous gangster who became the most dangerous person in Los Angeles during the '40s and '50s.

Complicating matters is Ned Stax, played by Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes). Ned is a Mickey Cohen's lawyer who also happened to fight alongside Joe Teague in the war. Alexa Davalos (Clash of the Titans) is the only woman who is part of the main cast. Davalos plays Jasmine Fontaine, a woman with a complicated past.

Producer Frank Darabont is the executive producer for Mob City. Darabont directed such films as The Shawshank Redemption and also developed The Walking Dead for television. The show is based on the book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City by John Buntin.

Mob City will be airing two episodes a week starting on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The series will air for three weeks, with the final two episodes airing on Dec. 18. Assuming the ratings are good, TNT may renew it for a second season.

The first two episodes of Mob City air from 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. on TNT.
