'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers: Beckett To Finally Get Justice For Mother's Death On Senator Bracken By The Finale? [SNEAK PEEK]
While ABC's crime drama Castle has had a handful of notable antagonists in the past, one villain that takes the cake in terms of originality is corrupt Senator Bracken (Jack Coleman).
Potential Pi Exit, 3XK & Castle's Dad Discussed
Bracken is the man responsible for the slaying of Beckett's (Stana Katic) mother, and although he sporadically graced the small screen in season 5, he's still yet to surface in the current installment.
According to Carter Matt on Dec. 4, there are two factors that are dependant upon his return: Coleman's schedule and the timing of the storyline for his re-entrance into the plot.
Katic recently spoke to TV Guide on Dec. 3 about her character's conflict, and made it very clear that she'd like to see the matter come to a resolution, but only one that's appropriate for Beckett.
"They did a really nice job of developing this 'sleeping dragon' story, and [the end] of that should be done with justice to all of the years that they spent developing that," she said.
Although Bracken's future fate is definitely still speculation at this point, Katic's statement will surely make fans wonder whether the justice she speaks of will be happening this season.
ABC's Castle will be airing its next episode on Monday, Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. EDT. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV series. The above-mentioned promo video can be viewed below.
