With just three weeks to go until Downton Abbey's annual Christmas Special, more info continues to surface on the highly anticipated two-hour episode.

Downton executive producer Liz Trubridge hyped up the British-American drama's upcoming holiday extravaganza to Wet Paint on Dec. 4, calling it "the most spectacular yet."

Maggie Smith Could Exit The TV Series?

Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael) is set to wrestle "with a moral dilemma," as she copes with being pregnant and alone. The entertainment site suspects that her predicament has something to do with Aunt Rosamund's (Samantha Bond) master plan to get "the baby adopted abroad."

Also, Isobel (Penelope Wilton) will find "herself with someone who fancies her," which could very well turn out to be Lord Merton (Douglas Reith).

Meanwhile, Daisy will be getting "an unexpected invitation," which could quite possibly turn out to mend her broken heart.

The previous episode featured Anna (Joanne Froggatt) confused over the abrupt death of her attacker while the widowed Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) being coveted by several potential suitors.
