'Girl Meets World' Premiere Update: Writers Tease Returning Star From 'Boy Meets World' on Twitter [VIDEO]
Now that production is in full swing for the highly anticipated Girl Meets World series, the writers of the show have started a Twitter account Tuesday to interact with fans.
They didn't take long to tease fans and wrote Wednesday, "Today we decided who the first guest star returning from Boy Meets World will be...Here's your hint: One of you is right...Shawn? Eric? Really? So fast? Don't you want to start on the other side of the school?"

While many might think the returning cast member is good old Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), it was already revealed in March that he would be in the first episode of Girl Meets World.

It's possible that Will Friedle could come back as Eric Matthews, even though in October he said he had no plans to join the show.
According to Wet Paint, the returning star could be the geeky Stuart Minkus (played by Lee Norris) who left after the first season, only to appear again in the fifth season finale for the Graduation episode. Minkus said he was on the "other side of the school with Mr. Turner," who was in the show for seasons 2, 3, and 4.
It seems as if the show writers like to tease their fans. It seems as if their first tweet was to give the audience a hint of what the opening scene would be like.
One of the writers posted, "Fade in: Our thirteen year summer is over. Longest timeout ever."
The show ended 13 years ago after seven seasons.
Girl Meets World started production in November. It's set to premiere on The Disney Channel in early 2014.
