'Dancing With the Stars' Season 18 Cast: 'The Chew' Co-Host Appearing in Spring 2014 Installment? [VIDEO]
One of the hosts of ABC's The Chew wants to be on the next season of Dancing With the Stars.
The Chew co-host Carla Hall wants to be on Dancing With the Stars in season 18. Hall has revealed several times on The Chew that she wants to be on Dancing With the Stars, often showing off her dance moves on the show. Hall confirmed her desire on Twitter after Wetpaint published a story about her wanting to be on the show.
"Thanks for articulating my desire to be on DWTS so well," Hall tweeted Monday. "From your keypad to God's ears."
Hall, who is also an alum of the popular cooking show Top Chef, would likely be free to do Dancing With the Stars as The Chew has four other co-hosts that can carry the show in her absence.
Presuming Hall manages to get cast on Dancing With the Stars, it would deny the rumors that the producers are only casting Oscar winners on the show's 18th season. Enstars previously reported about a rumor that the show wanted to cast Renee Zellweger and a slew of other high-profile actors and actresses for season 18 in order to boost ratings.
However, additional celebrities that have been rumored to be participating include actresses Tori Spelling, Elisa Donovan and The Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi.
Dancing With the Stars season 18 is expected to premiere in March 2014, though ABC has not yet scheduled a specific premiere date yet.
