Fans of the program are undoubtedly wondering just what lies ahead for some of their favorite characters, and while creator Robert Kirkman didn't get into the finest of details, he did speak about what loyalists can anticipate when TWD returns to TV, according to TV Guide.

One of the tidbits he put out there was that Carol (Melissa McBride) will indeed be returning. The former prison group member was banished by Rick (Andrew Lincoln) for killing two of their own people in an attempt to stop the spread of something that was potentially contagious.

Carol To Be Found By Tyreese In Upcoming Installment?

Another juicy piece of info that Kirkman brought up was that the radio message on the sanctuary that involved Daryl (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman), and Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) will play a factor into the storyline.

He also indicated that audiences will get to delve deeper into the pre-walker lives of their favorite characters, which will likely include Michonne.
