'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Spoilers: A Grieving Jax To Go On The Run Instead Of Turning Himself In? [VIDEO]
After quite the shocking season 6 finale of FX's Sons of Anarchy, many fans are already looking ahead to its seventh and final installment, which will surely be featuring some major changes for SAMCRO president Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam).
The sixth installment came to a screeching halt with Jax holding the lifeless body of his murdered wife Tara (Maggie Siff), who was killed by his mother Gemma (Katey Sagal) because she wrongfully thought that she was a snitch. To make matters worse, Jax is unaware of just who killed her.
Gemma To Go Off The Deep End Mentally In Lieu Of Tara's Murder?
Creator Kurt Sutter recently elaborated on how he approached Tara's death, as she was murdered in an unorthodox manner, according to Screencrush on Dec. 11.
"I knew I wanted it to be simple and pedestrian and of Gemma's world, not of the club's world. I didn't want it to be a gun or a knife. There's almost something more horrific in terms of us seeing Gemma in that opening montage washing dishes and you have no idea that something as simple as dirty dish water and a carving fork would be used as implements of death," he explained.
Moving forward, Jax still has a decision looming on whether or not to turn himself in to Patterson (CCH Pounder) as the source of the school shooting.
Although Sutter believes Jax could be brought in for extensive interrogation by Pounder's character, he also acknowledged that the actress still has yet to be confirmed for season 7. With his emotions currently in a fragile state, it will surely be interesting to see if he would back out of his agreement and go on the run and off the deep end.
While no official date has yet to be confirmed, SOA is set to return for its seventh and final season at some point in the fall of 2014. Be sure to keep checking back with Enstars for more details. The promo for the season 6 finale episode can be watched below.
