Hope (Kim Matula) may not have a lot of support as she looks for a 'happily ever after' ending with Liam (Scott Clifton) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

In a new preview clip for the Thursday, Dec. 12 episode, she has the least amount of support from her mother Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who has always supported Hope's potential future with Liam in the past. Brooke appears wary of what Hope needs to give up in order to finally marry Liam.

"I want to make sure that it's YOU making this decision, not Liam," she said to her daughter.

Hope seems to just want to marry Liam after years of waiting, and will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

"I don't want it to become more of an issue than it already is," she said.

Meanwhile Wyatt (Darin Brooks) will continue to make pleas to Liam about letting him still work with Hope, but Liam doesn't appear to budge.

"I am the man that she has been in love with for years and years and that is why she is cutting you out of her life," he said to Wyatt in the clip.

However, all of the drama surrounding Hope and Liam's back-on engagement may all be for nothing as a very familiar face is on the way back to Los Angeles: Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Woods).

Though she appears to be in town for business, her arrival back in Los Angeles could spell disaster yet again for Hope and Liam, especially when she gets back on a plane to Paris with Quinn (Rena Sofer) in tow.

"My grandfather emailed me and said you're on this jet because you're doing some business at international," Steffy said to Quinn.

Quinn may use this opportune alone time with Steffy to convince her to pursue Liam again, which would free Hope back up for Wyatt.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
