Pauley Perrette, who plays Abby Sciuto on NCIS, took to Twitter to talk about a situation with Cote de Pablo, who announced her departure from the show in July.

"She called me and hollered at me for mentioning her name on twitter. She didn't want to be on the show or talk to y'all," Perrette tweeted on Thursday without naming a person.

However, Perrette's other two tweets about the subject were clearly about her former costar of eight years.

"I'm PROTECTING HER! She's MY friend You don't know her. She made her own private decision. Your pressure doesn't help her," she said. "My final word on my friend Cote She made a life decision. I respect it. Leave her and me alone about her decision. Please."

The 44-year-old also went on to thank the show's loyal fans and express love for her job.

"Don't blame me. I'll never bring this up again. I'm sick of it I LOVE MY JOB AND AWESOME #NCIS fans. I'm staying with YOU!" she tweeted. "The current cast and crew of #NCIS wants to thank you ALL! We love our jobs and you guys! THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME!"

Perrette initially addressed de Pablo's decision to leave and the negative remarks she was receiving in July and tweeted, "Cote's my friend! Love her. You guys writing mean things to ME (?) I'M SAD SHE LEFT TOO! I didn't want her to leave! SAD!"

De Pablo played agent Ziva David for eight seasons and her character, which debuted during season 3, had been a crucial part of the investigative team led by Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Anthony DiNozzo. The 33-year-old actress returned for two episodes at the beginning of season 11 to properly end her character's role on the hit show.
