NCIS' executive producer teased what fans can expect to see from Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) during season 11's 250th episode.

"Tony has had a year of real change and growth so far. Ziva said goodbye. Bishop said hello. Tony's friendship with McGee got stronger and his bond with Gibbs wasn't weakened by change, it was reinforced," Gary Glasberg told TV Line. "And now, for a special 250th episode, Anthony DiNozzo Sr. (Robert Wagner) will be back. And along with a riveting crime to solve, Tony will discover there's a new mystery woman in his father's life."

As for the episode that Weatherly once tweeted that he would be directing, Glasberg said that it won't be premiering anytime soon.

"We were planning on that, but we decided to postpone it," he said.

The segment is being rescheduled so that Weatherly could spend quality time with his newborn son. Weatherly and his wife Bojana Jankovic welcomed a son named Liam on Oct. 29.

As EnStars previously reported, Glasberg also spoke with TV Guide in November and revealed that DiNozzo will soon be moving on from his love Ziva, who left the show earlier in the season. In 2014, the agent will try his luck in love again.

While some fans wondered if the new character Ellie Bishop, played by Emily Wickersham, would be the girl DiNozzo would fall for, that's not the case.

"We will eventually meet her husband, who is an attorney with the NSA," Glasberg also said about Bishop. "This is a very different relationship from anything we've had. There's something interesting in this world when you have a spouse you can't tell everything to, and taking on the added responsibilities of this new job could come with consequences."
