Details On Harvey Levinson & 'The Gangs' Arrival To Downton
Shirley MacLaine (Martha Levinson) will be returning to Downton to reprise her role. However, it's the unfolding of a current murder plot that has served to pique the interest of loyalists. as Mrs. Hughes (Phyllis Logan) will more than likely become aware of the murderer's identity.
In what appears to be a crucial scene pertaining to Mr. Green's (Anthony Foyle) killing, the housekeeper can be seen in the servants' hall discovering a ticket inside a coat pocket.
Daily Mail reported on Dec. 15 that "the possibility is that the ticket might belong to Downton valet Bates, which could mean not only that he is tried for murder for a second time, but sent to the gallows."
Nonetheless, it's a seemingly strong possibility that Bates (Brendan Coyle) just may have taken the situation into his very own hands upon the realization of the person's identity that raped his wife, Anna (Joanne Froggatt).
