After the renewal of Survivor for seasons 29 and 30, there have been a lot of rumors as to what the show will do for its landmark 30th season.

Survivor host Jeff Probst, who will also be returning for seasons 29 and 30, told Entertainment Weekly recently that season 30 will be all about getting the right cast together.

"It really doesn't matter if it's a version of Heroes vs. Villains, an All-Stars, or all new people, or Blood vs. Water, or all winners or all runners-up, or third person on a Friday that lost the immunity," Probst quipped. "It doesn't matter how you divide the people if they are not great people."

One of the most popular ideas for Survivor season 30 is an all-winners edition. Probst suggested that he was on board with the idea as long as they get the right people in it.

"It would be great to do a season of all winners - if that season of all winners features great characters," he noted. "But if not, if you can't get that group together, then just getting the marquee of all-winners? That gets you five minutes into episode 1. What are you going to do for the rest of the season?"

Probst addressed the possibility of an all-winners season previously with Entertainment Weekly. The longtime host said that not all winners are great TV, plus it would be difficult to get the right amount of men and women, in addition to having them be diverse in age and background. However, he added that if Survivor season 30 is the last season then they will definitely try to go out in a way that pleases the audience.
