An upcoming episode of Person of Interest season 3 will conclude the dramatic story arc featured in Tuesday night's episode.

CBS published a press release of the midseason premiere of Person of Interest, titled Aletheia. The synopsis reads, "In the concluding chapter to the shocking winter cliffhanger, multiple enemies converge on the POI team as they protect a dying man whose number has come up. They struggle to keep their enemies at bay but without Reese, who has left them and their mission behind following the tragic war with HR, being down one man could have catastrophic repercussions for the team."

Aletheia airs Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. on CBS.

Before this episode airs, Person of Interest has one more episode that will air Tuesday night, which introduces the dying man whose number comes up for the POI team. The team's lives are threatened as they attempt to protect the dying man's life. Tuesday night's episode also features Reese's decision to quit the team in the wake of the HR incident.

Meanwhile, Fusco (Kevin Chapman) will be adjusting to his new position in the NYPD, finding himself to be a bigger leader for some of the new detectives.

"Because of the taking down of HR, we have a lot of old detectives going out and new detectives coming in, and they're all kind of looking to Fusco for guidance," Chapman told TVLine recently. "He's now become the 'mentor' of the office."

Person of Interest season 3 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
