Someone wants to see the Time War start again - not on Gallifrey, but on Trenzalore.

A new preview for "The Time of the Doctor" has revealed that the episodes' mysterious woman (Tasha Lem, portrayed by Orla Brady) will have more than just a simple demise in mind for the Doctor.

As Eleven's hour slowly ticks to a close this Christmas, the Doctor and Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman) will chase down a message that is being broadcast to the stars from a small, unassuming planet. However, the Time Lord and his TARDIS aren't then only space travelers that have picked up the transmission and Eleven will have to face some of his oldest enemies at Trenzalore.

Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels, The Silence - they're all coming out of the woodwork for "The Time of the Doctor," but the stage has been set for the recreation of an epic and bloody battle.

"The Time War will begin anew," Lem projection declares while looking down from a enormous screen. "The siege of Trenzalore is now begun. This world will burn."

If you're beginning to wonder why exactly Lem seems to be consumed by evil, it may have something to do with the Dalek eyestalk that is protruding from her head in this newly released photo. Possibly, but you never know.

Find out how Eleven will fall and how Peter Capaldi will find a way around the regeneration limit when "The Time of the Doctor" airs on Dec. 25 at 9 p.m. ET on BBC America.
