Relationship problems may erupt between Jasmine and Crosby when Parenthood returns from its winter hiatus.

During the episode "Stay A Little Longer," Crosby will allow Oliver Rome to stay at his house after his rock band has a breaking point. While Crosby is trying to do the right thing, Jasmine isn't happy about Oliver staying with her family. This could cause some tension between the couple.

The show's creator, Jason Katims, previously explained that this season Crosby will have a lot more on his plate following the birth of the couple's second child, Aida.

"In a way, Crosby's always been able to kind of have it both ways. He has a great wife and family, but also seems to always live his life with a certain kind of freedom," Katims told TV Guide in September. "This is a year where Crosby is starting to feel a little bit more of what it feels like to be Adam: The weight of responsibility, the increased financial pressure.

Other characters will also face their own problems, including Amber, who will have to deal with the fact that the man she loves has joined the army again. In the previous episode, Amber attempted to salvage her relationship with Ryan and really opened up to him.

"I've been thinking a lot about how you've been through so much; things that I can't ever imagine or understand no matter how much I want to. We are so different and it's made this really hard," she told him. "It's also what makes us so amazing together. We have the ability to grow and change, to make each other better."

However, Ryan replied, "I can't do this life... I went back. I re-enlisted."

"Stay A Little Longer" will air on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 10 p.m. ET.
