NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Rangers online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Entering their 39th game of the season, the Toronto Maple Leafs have an 18-16-4 record. Despite a strong showing at the beginning of the season, the Maple Leafs have fallen on hard times as of late. The team kicked of December with losses to the San Jose Sharks, the Boston Bruins, the Los Angeles Kings, the St. Louis Blues, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Florida Panthers, and the Detroit Lions while only managing to defeat the Dallas Stars, the Ottawa Senators, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Phoenix Coyotes. With 40 points, Toronto is in fifth place for the Atlantic Division.

Coming into tonight's match, the New York Rangers have a 17-18-2 record. The Rangers have also had a tough December due to losses at the hands of the Winnipeg Jets, the New Jersey Devils, the Washington Capitals, the Nashville Predators, the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the New York Islanders. However, a Sunday victory over the Minnesota Wild may give the Rangers the momentum they need to beat the Maple Leafs tonight. With 36 points, the Rangers are currently in fourth place for the Metropolitan Division.
