While getting ready to start production for the fourth season of the hit show, the cast of hit MTV show Awkward shared on their Twitter and Instagram pages just how they spent the Christmas holiday.

Beau Mirchoff, who's character Matty McKibben found himself in quite the love triangle this season, took to his Instagram to show off his Christmas presents: a pile of books. He included the caption, "Couldn't get me a Kindle?"

Ashley Rickards, who plays Matty's ex and possibly future girlfriend Jenna Hamilton, tweeted an image also of the gift she got: a DVD of the classic movie Good Burger. She captioned the picture, "Omg!! Merry Christmas!!!!"
