'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 6: New Cast Members Ready to Quit, Source Says 'The Twins Are Over It' [VIDEO]
The latest cast members added to The Real Housewives of New Jersey have yet to make their debut on the small screen, but new reports claim some of them are threatening to quit the show before its new season even airs.
Filming for the sixth season of the show kicked off the first week of December. A Radar Online report said Nicole and Teresa Napolitano are already looking to walk away from the reality show. Things have gotten so heated during taping that one of the twins threw down her microphone and walked off the set.
"These new girls aren't working out. The twins are over it and ready to quit. I don't see them lasting longer than this season," a source told the website.
Speculation that the Napolitano twins and their friend Amber Marchese were joining the show sparked back in mid-October. Nicole is said to be a Dairy Queen owner and Teresa is a philanthropist and socialite in New Jersey. Marchese has four children and is married.
The three ladies were added to the cast to give the show a new flavor, according to In Touch Weekly. One insider said, "The show got really dark. They needed to bring in new faces to get back to some of the lighter drama that everyone loves from the Real Housewives franchise."
Speculation that they are having diva moments on set might not be that shocking, the source added, saying, "These twins will be sassy and you can bet it will turn into new girls vs. old girls drama."
The new season is scheduled to premiere in 2014. There is no specific date set yet.
