NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Buffalo Sabres and the Toronto Maple Leafs online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7:30 p.m. ET from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

Entering their 40th game of the season, the Toronto Maple Leafs have an 18-16-5 record. Despite a strong showing at the beginning of the season, the Maple Leafs have seen several defeats in recent weeks. The team kicked of December with a string of losses to the San Jose Sharks, the Boston Bruins, the Los Angeles Kings, the St. Louis Blues, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Florida Panthers, the Detroit Red Wings, and the New York Rangers while managing to scrape victories over the Dallas Stars, the Ottawa Senators, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Phoenix Coyotes. With 41 points, Toronto is in fifth place for the Atlantic Division.

Coming into tonight's match, the Buffalo Sabres have a 10-24-3 record. After losing nine of their first 10 games, the Sabres have continued to suffer defeats around every turn this season. December, however, saw an unusual number of wins for the Buffalo team as they skated to victory against the Ottawa Senators, the Winnipeg Jets, the Boston Bruins and the Phoenix Coyotes despite falling to the New York Rangers, the Montreal Canadiens, the Ottawa Senators, the Calgary Flames, and the Boston Bruins. With a meager 23 points, the Sabres are in eighth place for the Atlantic Division.
