'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 6 Cast: 'Feud Boiling' Between 'Old Housewives' & 'New' Girls? [VIDEO]
Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Guidice and Melissa Gorga have reportedly taken their rekindled friendship to the next level by joining forces against the show's new cast members Nicole and Teresa Napolitano and Amber Marchese.
An annual girls trip to Revel Casino in Atlantic City sparked a battle between costars during the taping for season 6 of the reality series, a source told Radar Online. The in-laws were a united front against twins Nicole and Teresa Napolitano, and Amber Marchese.
"There is an Old Housewives vs. New Housewives feud boiling...and Melissa won't let these newbies talk sh-- about her or her family," a source said.
"This was a typical manufactured housewives fighting about who said what behind each other's back," another source added.
The dispute stems in part from Marchese's alleged aspirations to use the show as a means to boost her acting career. An insider said, "Amber wants to make a splash, so she fought with the twins and Melissa that weekend. She wants to be an actress, so she's playing it up for the camera."
Marchese appears to be genuinely upset over the feud, taking to her Facebook page to express her frustrations.
"What a weekend. Not being in my own element makes for one unhappy woman. Just shale it off and go. Helps remind me just how wonderful my family is to me," she wrote. "They don't hurt me and they never make me cry. Just pure happiness, understanding, and love. I pray for everyone to have their own sanctuary."
The drama follows reports that the twins are ready to call it quits on the show. One source revealed that one of the sisters even made a dramatic exit from the set when she threw her microphone down and walked off.
"These new girls aren't working out. The twins are over it and ready to quit," the source said.
The sixth season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to debut early 2014.
