'The Bachelor' Juan Pablo Spoilers For Season 18 Premiere: Preview Shows His Crying 'I'd Rather End Up With Nobody' [VIDEO]
A new trailer for season 18 of The Bachelor debuted Friday showing laughs and tears, with even Juan Pablo Galavis breaking down and explaining why he would "definitely rather end up with nobody."
The 3:48-clip, released exclusively on EntertainmentWeekly.com, starts with the 27 contestants and Galavis having a blast, from bungee jumping to just partying it up. Galavis said, "These women are amazing."
The contestants who are vying for his heart don't hold back when it comes to how they feel about Galavis. One said, "Juan Pablo is definitely the hottest bachelor in bachelor history...He's a good dad, he's husband material." Another describes Galavis as, "comforting, charming and genuine."
Everything changes when the women realize how great of a guy Galavis is. They come to terms with the harsh but true reality that they all want to be the one to walk away with the last rose, but only one can. Some contestants struggle with seeing the man they love making a strong connection with other women on the show, even making out with them.
One scene shows a handful of women spying on Galavis and another contestant kissing.
"It's just hard to see someone that you're connecting with connect with someone else," one woman said. "Seeing him attracted to someone who's very different than you."
Another contestant is extremely candid as she cries and confesses that the other women make her break down.
The season gets to the point where contestants start judging one another's sanity and readiness to get married. They get territorial over Galavis, but continue reminding each other that he is still not officially tied down to any one women.
Pablo also hits a breaking point when he needs to make a judgment call. In a voiceover he is heard saying, "Please, I'd definitely rather end up with nobody than having her daughter not be proud of her dad."
