NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Detroit Red Wings and the Dallas Stars online.

The two teams will take the ice at 8 p.m. ET from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Entering their 43 rd game of the season, the Detroit Red Wings have a 18-14-10 record. Despite winning their season opener against the Buffalo Sabres, the Red Wings suffered two losing streaks in November and December. Since the start of December, Detroit has lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Florida Panthers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Anaheim Ducks, the New York Islanders, the Nashville Predators, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. With their last victory on Dec. 28, the Michigan team managed to move to 26 points and is currently ranked fifth in the Atlantic Division.

Coming into tonight's match, the Dallas Stars have a 20-13-7 record. Despite falling to the Florida Panthers in the first faceoff of the season, the Stars have recovered more and more as the months have gone by. Play over the last two weeks has resulted in victories against the Los Angeles Kings and the Nashville Predators as well as defeats at the hands of the San Jose Sharks, the St. Louis Blues, and the Montreal Canadiens, With 47 points, the Stars are currently in fourth place for the Central Division.
