'NCIS' Season 11 News: Ellie Bishop's 'Weaknesses And Faults' Come Out, Will Fans Meet Her 'Lawyer' Husband? [VIDEO]
Emily Wickersham, who plays new girl Ellie Bishop on NCIS, revealed what fans can expect to see from her the rest of season 11.
"Well, Ellie is from a big family in Oklahoma, a Midwestern girl," she told TV Line in a Jan. 5 report. "We know that she is married, though we don't really know much about Bishop's husband yet."
When TV Line asked Wickersham if the rumors of Bishop's husband being a lawyer were true, the actress didn't confirm or deny. Instead, she said how excited she is for fans to get to know more about the character.
What Did Fans Think Of Emily Wickersham's Debut Episode?
"I'm not sure what's been revealed, to be honest, but it's a storyline that I'm really looking forward to getting to know more about," she said. "I think it'll be fun to see where Bishop comes from. She has three older brothers, which I think makes the transition to hanging out with the NCIS crew easier."
While it seems that there's not much wrong with the new NCIS agent, Wickersham confirmed that some of her faults will appear in future episodes.

"For me, I think the faults in people are the most interesting and fun things to play. Like anyone, she's got her weaknesses for sure," she said. "Even though she's usually very on top of it, there are definitely weaknesses and faults that'll pop out."
Bishop made her debut on the show in November during the episode "Gut Check." In a poll conducted by TV Line, 78 percent of the show's fans said they either "love" or "like" the new character.
