'American Horror Story: Coven' Spoilers: Stevie Nicks Gives a Special Gift to Misty in Next Episode [VIDEO]
On the next episode of American Horror Story: Coven, singer Stevie Nicks (guest-starring as herself) visits the coven and impresses her biggest fan.
FX has released a sneak peek of Nicks' guest appearance on the show, featuring the singer playing one of her songs at the piano. Her biggest fan Misty Day (Lily Rabe) watches on in awe and asks if she's doing Nicks' signature shawl twirl right. Nicks then gives Misty one of her shawls, a token of appreciation for Misty's devotion to her.
As this goes down, Fiona (Jessica Lange) is seen smirking in the corner. The episode features Fiona bringing Nicks to the Academy to try and convince Misty to become the next Supreme. This way, she can determine if Misty is destined to be the new Supreme and try to do away with her.
Nicks recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about guest-starring on the show and how it relates to her former critics perceiving her as a witch.
"I wouldn't have done this 30 years ago. In the beginning of my career, the whole idea that some wacky, creepy people were writing, "You're a witch, you're a witch!" was so arresting," she admitted. "And there I am like, 'No, I'm not! I just wear black because it makes me look thinner you idiots.' . . . So when all this came along, I was like, 'what, really, am I going to turn this down because of all that past nonsense?' I'm way too old and I've been through way too much to give up an opportunity like this. I'm fearless."
