'50 Shades of Grey' Movie News: Bone-Chilling Temperatures Disrupt & Alter Filming Location?
Due to the bone-chilling temperatures of the north, the cast and crew of the film adaptation of E.J. James' Fifty Shades of Grey will reportedly be moving locations from Vancouver to Miami.
Although the book version of the scenes they plan to shoot takes place in Seattle, the frigid temperatures are said to have given the usually warm-climated state a similar look to Seattle, just a warmer.
Entire Trilogy Set To Be Condensed Into One Movie?
"The downtown Miami skyline looks a lot like downtown Vancouver," stated the Global Post on Jan. 5.
Several sequences from the racy flick being filmed by director Sam Johnson and her crew in the Miami area are said to be exterior shots of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).
After the Fifty Shades team wraps in the sunshine state, they'll make the trek to the Canary Islands, specifically Tenerife, to shoot the honeymoon scenes, which will be done in February.
