On the next episode of Parenthood Julia's relationship with Joel may be destroyed for good after she confesses to her bad behavior.

In the episode preview, Julia tells Joel that Ed kissed her and her husband is furious by the news.

Yet, Julia attempts to ease his anger by telling him, "From my point of view it was nothing."

But, her words don't make him feel any better.

"Why would you think that is nothing?" Joel says before he storms out of the room.

In last week's episode, Julia confided in her brother Adam and told him about her infidelity. Adam appeared to be supportive and even suggested that Julia seeks counseling. Her brother later told Crosby to watch out for his sister and Ed at the upcoming school auction.

However, things went wrong at the event when a drunken Ed tried to speak with Julia. Joel stepped in and pummeled Ed to the ground and told him to say away from Julia.

Joel later confronted his wife to find out if anything happened between her and Ed. Julia didn't reveal the truth at the time and Joel assumed she was lying.

Another couple whose relationship has taken an unexpected turn is Amber and Ryan. Amber is left to deal with the fact the man she loves has joined the army again without her consent.

Amber attempted to salvage her relationship with Ryan and really opened up to him.

"I've been thinking a lot about how you've been through so much; things that I can't ever imagine or understand no matter how much I want to. We are so different and it's made this really hard," she told him. "It's also what makes us so amazing together. We have the ability to grow and change, to make each other better."

However, Ryan replied, "I can't do this life... I went back. I re-enlisted."

The new episode of Parenthood titled "Stay A Little Longer," airs on Thursday on NBC at 10/9c.
