Jack Bauer will be at odds with several people when 24: Live Another Day kicks off, including a former ally.

In the four years that Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) has been on the run, Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) has decided to ditch the Counter Terrorist Unit in lieu of taking on work of a WikiLeaks nature, according to TV Line. Somehow, the two will find themselves on opposite sides during Bauer's new day.

Chloe's involvement will reportedly be linked to the CIA's Agent Kate Morgan's (Yvonne Strahovski) pursuit of Bauer while he is in London.

He is still a fugitive who he has been hunted - and he is still hunted," said executive producer Manny Coto, according to TV Line. "Jack is not quite Osama Bin Laden, but he is someone to be captured. And when Jack reenters the story on his own terms, we will learn he has a mission. But this CIA agent is determined to catch him, and as she gets closer and closer to him, Chloe O'Brien reenters the picture."

However, Strahovski's character will not remain a problem for Bauer as the series moves forward.

"[They are] hunter and hunted, initially," said executive producer Evan Katz. "Obviously that dynamic changes when she realizes he's not the man everyone is accusing him of being."

24: Live Another Day will premiere its 12-episode run on May 5 on Fox.
