Two new characters - Ellie Bishop and Delilah Fielding - were introduced in season 11 of NCIS and now there's hope for one more.

In a new interview with TV Line, the show's executive producer Gary Glasberg revealed that there's interest in bringing actor Robert Vaughn on the show.

Vaughn and David McCallum, who plays Dr. Donald Mallard on NCIS, were costars on the '60s show Man from U.N.C.L.E.

While the idea has "never been formally presented," Glasberg said, it has "always been something that's in the ether, but then never materializes. But it's something worth talking about, that's for sure."

While it's uncertain whether or not Vaughn will appear on the show, one familiar face will soon be on NCIS without a doubt.

As EnStars previously reported, the 250th episode of NCIS set to air in February, will see the return of Tony DiNozzo's father.

In the episode, DiNozzo will show interest in another woman other than Ziva David. However, she's already with his father, Anthony DiNozzo Sr. (Robert Wagner).

"This woman could potentially be Tony's new stepmom, and a big part of the story is her age and the awkwardness that brings to Tony," Glasberg previously told TV Guide in a Jan. 2 report. "Prior to meeting her, Tony tries to find out as much as he can about who she is."

The young new woman may even cause a rift between father and son, according to the article.
