'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 6 Contestants: How Did They Come Up With Their Names?
RuPaul's Drag Race is heading back to Logo TV this February, and we have compiled a list of some contestants on how they got their names.
In separate interviews on Logo TV, each contestant gave a description on their names that were either part of their birth name or came from somewhere completely random.
April Carrion got her name from the month she was born and her family's last name. She also talked about why she decided to apply as a contestant on the series.

"Because it's the best s--- ever," Carrion said. "Like hello, I'm a drag queen, I need to be here."
There is also Bianca Del Rio who got her name from a friend who was drunk in a bar.
"And I drank as well," Del Rio said. "And it has no significance whatsoever."
Del Rio also admitted that her real name is Roy Haylock. "Unless if you work for the IRS, then my name is Pablo Sanchez," Del Rio added.

Gia Gunn said that she got her name from the supermodel, Gia Carangi.
"And my last name is 'Gunn,' which is my drag transsexual mother whatever the f--- she is, cross dresser," Gunn said. "Her last name is Gunn, G-U- double N and it comes from Tim Gunn."
Magnolia Crawford admitted that there is no specific meaning behind her name.
"I just thought it was a silly name," she said.
