How I Met Your Mother's landmark 200th episode is just days away, and one of the show's stars has shared how excited she is for audiences to see it.

"I'm really excited for-I like to call it the Cristin Milioti episode-the 200th episode [airing next week]," she said to IGN Jan. 21. "Just because, first of all, I think Cristin is amazing, and we have not used her enough on this show. But at the same time, there are all of these things, all these questions that are answered within that episode."

How I Met Your Mother 200th Episode Being Told From Mother's Point of View

"There are some really interesting tie-ins to previous seasons and previous moments where maybe in another episode, like, 'Oh, she left her umbrella at the club.' Like, we get to see a flip side of what happened to that umbrella and follow that," she added.

This is not the first time Smulders has expressed excitement for the episode, titled How Your Mother Met Me. She previously revealed back in December that the episode would feature a heavy focus on the mother's past, instead of highlighting her and Ted's potential meeting.

An official synopsis for the episode reads: "On the 200th episode, The Mother is going to recount how she met Ted and what she's been up to for the past eight years...Guest stars will include: Andrew Rannells as Darren, Ahna O'Reilly as Kelly, Roger Bart as Curtis, Adam Paul as Mitch, Louis Ferrigno, Jr. as Louis, Rachel Bilson as Cindy, Meagan Tandy as Kelly, and Robert Belushi as Linus."

Smulders also revealed in the recent interview that she knows exactly how the show ends, and teased that it could be an emotional time for viewers, as it was that way for her after he received the information from show co-creator Craig Thomas.

"...he just laid it out. I immediately started weeping and had to leave. Like I had to leave. I said that, I was like, 'Craig, I have to leave right now. Thank you,' and I just walked away," she said. "I feel it's very beautiful and very true to life. That's what I feel about it."
