'The Good Wife' Season 5 News: Michael J. Fox to Reprise Guest Role As Alicia's Nemesis
Michael J. Fox is set to reprise a guest role in upcoming episodes of season 5 of The Good Wife.
Things will heat up in the court room with the return of Fox, in his guest role as Alicia's opponent, on the legal drama. Fox will be playing the cunning lawyer, Louis Canning, who is known for railing against Alicia (Juliana Margulies) in the past. It has been suggested that Canning will be set up against Alicia again and will battle her in the courtroom.
This news follows after NBC's recent announcement stating that it was pulling the plug on The Michael J. Fox Show because of poor ratings. Though 22 unaired episodes of the show have already been produced, there is no word from the television network on what will become of them.
The Good Wife's co-creator, Robert King, had previously hinted Fox's return on the show during the Television Critics Association winter press tour in January.
"We're trying to make that work," he said. "Because he finished filming [The Michael J. Fox Show], so it looks like we're going to get a chance to get him back."
In other news, Margulies recently suggested that a huge turn of events would bring Diane and Alicia closer.

Another relationship that might be on its way to mending, is that between Kalinda and Cary. In the latest episode, We the Juries, Cary still seemed to be bitter about the past and misled Kalinda about a Lockhart/Gardner client so that he could nab him for his and Alicia's new firm.
The show is currently on hiatus and will return on Mar. 9.
