One of the stars of Orange is the New Black recently said that the highly anticipated second season will get pretty "wild."

Orange is the New Black Season 2 Premiere Date Revealed?

Taryn Manning, who plays radical, born-again Christian Pennsatucky in Orange is the New Black, spoke with Access Hollywood recently about season 2.

"The show just continues to get wild and the writing is supreme," she said. "You just get to peek in a little bit more into the characters and you really start to get to know other characters that maybe you didn't get to know in season 1."

Manning added that fans should expect "all kinds of surprises" in season 2.

Actress Jodie Foster has been announced to be returning to direct another episode of the show in season 2 after directing the third episode of season 1. Manning said that it was good experience meeting Foster.

"I met her and I almost passed out," she gushed. "I love her so much and she was so sweet and shy, and I'm like, 'Wait - why are you shy right now?!' But she was really kind."

She said that Foster voiced her confidence in season 2, "so it was really cool to hear."

Manning's last scene in the season 1 finale featured her character Pennsatucky squaring off against Piper (Taylor Schilling) in the courtyard. The result was not good for Pennsatucky as she was easily beaten up by Piper. Manning was tight-lipped on what was next for her character after this bloody conflict.

Orange is the New Black season 2 is slated to premiere in 2014, though a simple Google search for the show reveals that it will debut on April 25, 2014.
