Juan Pablo 'Bachelor' Spoilers: Contestant Defends Galavis Against Criticism, Saying 'He's a Class Act'? [VIDEO]
Juan Pablo Galavis has come under quite a bit of hot water during his season of The Bachelor and one of his contestants has finally stepped up and come to his defense.
Clare Reveals What Really Happened Between Her and Juan Pablo
Renee Oteri opened up about the criticism Galavis has received from his controversial statements about the show having a gay bachelor to how he embarrassed Oteri's fellow contestant Clare Crawley on national television.
Oteri said he's just misunderstood.
'The Bachelor' Contestants Jealous of Clare?
"He's a class act. I feel bad for the criticism. I definitely know him and obviously people are going to write things and say things that may or may not be true, but I mean honestly, you do get to know each other really, really well and I still feel the same about him now that I did the moment I met him. I have nothing negative to say," Oteri said.
For all of the ladies wondering what type of man Galavis really is when the cameras turn off, Oteri revealed that he's just as charming.
"He's super calming, he's super funny. He's a great guy. Getting to know him, I had no idea he was so funny. He's hilarious," she said.
Still, Oteri, who is a single mother to 8-year-old Benjamin, had her own controversial moments with Galavis that aired on the show. For example, Galavis, who has 5-year-old Camille, did not want to kiss Oteri because she is a mom, but it didn't stop him from kissing the other contestants. Oteri said he seems a bit "confused" as far as what he wants.
"Watching it, it does seem like that. I don't know what goes on when I'm not around, so seeing the other conversations unfold...it does seem like he's a little bit confused," he said. "However, when he's with me, we are on the family level. When he's with the other girls, it's just different. I think each girl is bringing something different in him, and yeah, he seems confused as to what he wants. It's a different lifestyle whichever way you look at it."
See how it all plays out when The Bachelor airs Monday nights on ABC at 8/7c.
