John Leguizamo is set to guest star on Season 5 of The Good Wife, according to an E! Online report.

Cary and Robyn will be romantically involved in season 5?

Leguizamo will be coming on board as Cook County's new State Attorney, and taking the reigns from Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) who has now gone on to fulfill his gubernatorial duties. Leguizamo's character is a very conscientious man, and that will be translated to his role as State Attorney as well. The part has been described as that of a "well-liked leader, the son of blue-collar activist parents. He's intent on making the State's Attorney's office fair for everybody. Fairness is the name of the game when it comes to his character; it's like his religion."

But this might spell trouble for Peter who is currently in a major voting scandal.

Michael J. Fox to Reprise Role as Alicia's Arch Nemesis?

Over the last few episodes a lot of ugliness surrounding the gubernatorial elections and Peter's win had been revealed. As Peter was being incriminated for having rigged the election in his favor, he and Alicia's son, Zach, seemed to have been dragged into the mess. Zach had been witness to the illegal activity and testified in court about the unsealed ballots.

Leguizamo will guest star for one episode in whatever's remaining of the season.

Other guest stars this season have included Jeffrey Tambor, Carrie Preston, Gary Cole, America Ferrera and John Benjamin Hickey.

The Good Wife returns to CBS on Sunday, March 9 at 9 p.m.
