"Mickey Donovan -- a racist, homophobic, murderous thug - she's forbidden her brood from tuning in," the source said. "Angelina just doesn't think that this is an appropriate character for her kids to see, Mickey Donovan is a loathsome, amoral creep who's also a boozehound and drug user."

But the issue seems to run deeper than just exercising parental discretion in her children's TV viewing habits. According to the source, this seems to be have only added to their already troubles relationships.

"Jon has tapped into dark aspects of his own character and, for Angelina, seeing that has brought painful memories flooding back," said the source. Voight was also recently spotted downing a drink on the set of the show. The Daily Mail revealed pictures of the 75-year-old actor enjoying, what the publication suspected could be a glass of beer or apple juice, right by his trailer.
