Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), who was introduced at the end of Sunday night's episode is very fixated on getting to Washington, D.C. with his friends Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Rosita (Christian Serratos). Cudlitz spoke about the character in an interview with TV Guide, revealing the extent of his steely focus.
"When we meet Abraham, one of the things that we realize most about him is that he's very mission-oriented at this point," Cudlitz explained. "You're not going to learn a lot about how he emotionally feels about things necessarily. He's very reactive. He keeps his eye on the target. He's not to be f---ed with. He will kill you."

Cudlitz added that Abraham is a character who does not care what people think about him as he's so focused on his mission with Eugene and Rosita. He also revealed that his teaming up with Eugene and Rosita was born out of "safety in numbers," suggesting that they are only together while they're still useful to each other.
"If you cannot do your job, you are not needed," Cudlitz said, plainly. "Eugene has important information. Eugene needs to be protected and be brought to Washington, D.C."
