Upcoming Walking Dead Episode To Give "All The Answers" & Leave Characters With "No Choice"?
The next episode of The Walking Dead is titled Claimed and features Michonne, Rick and Carl still hiding from the walkers in their new house. With this, viewers will be treated to more backstory on Michonne, similar to the midseason premiere.
Will the trio of survivors venture out into the world any time soon? Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd recently spoke to E! Online about what was next for Michonne, Rick and Carl.
New Characters Abraham, Eugene & Rosita Know Zombie Cause?
"What they have to do is put their own safety first," she explained. "That's paramount at this point. You always have to weigh what's expedient, what's safe, and what it is you'd really like to do, and that's part of the decision making tree that all of our characters face in the separation."
Hurd also said that Carl is just as emotional as Michonne in this second half of season 4, having been through unspeakable experiences while still going through puberty.
"This is a child who's had to shoot his mother who was going to turn into a walker, and had to shoot Shane, who was like a surrogate father to him," she said, adding that any father-teenage son relationship is fraught with difficulty even without having to fight zombies.
The Walking Dead season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
